Hi, I’m Aakash Kumar aka crypfailure. I’m a cybersecurity professional with over five years of hands-on experience in identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities. My work mainly focuses on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing across a wide range of areas — including web applications, mobile apps, APIs, network infrastructures, thick clients, and even large language models (LLMs).
I enjoy exploring how systems function beneath the surface — testing their limits, uncovering weaknesses, and ensuring they remain properly secured. My objective is to help organizations create safer digital environments where security is integrated from the very beginning, not introduced later as an afterthought.
Apart from testing and securing systems, I enjoy working on implementation security
and using tools like Docker, Vagrant, and Ansible to
create automated, efficient, and reproducible setups. This helps me streamline workflows and
simplify complex environments.
Outside of work, I like to keep things light-hearted — fueled by sarcasm, snacks, and a curious mindset that questions conventional ideas. I believe that thinking differently is just as important as thinking deeply, especially in cybersecurity.
